Hahokh brings young people and communities together across child rights, education, women’s empowerment and community relief—turning compassion into practical action.
01 Community-led relief in Assam
We believe young voices become powerful when they are heard, trusted and given the chance to act.
A distinct identity
Hahokh—literally translated as “courage”—is a registered nonprofit organisation growing from Assam with the hope of building a wider movement across India.
We use the voice and energy of young people to support communities, respond to urgent needs and help people look beyond the limits of their economic circumstances. Our work begins with listening, then moves with purpose.
Explore our workOur focus
We begin with the real needs and voices of the communities around us.
Young volunteers turn collective care into focused, practical support.
Every effort is grounded in respect, solidarity and human connection.
Action on the ground
From flood response to clothing and essential-aid drives, our team works directly with people and communities across Assam.

Volunteers delivered essential relief materials, safe drinking water, hygiene supplies and daily necessities—and organised a free general health camp for affected families.

Together, we brought relief, dignity and hope to those who needed it most.
Why it matters
Hahokh’s work is rooted in direct human connection. Recent flood-relief activity has included collaboration with Agrogami Mahila Homaj and support from ASK Foundation24—helping volunteers reach people despite difficult flooded routes.
